Unreality is our debut EP. It's the sound of a band finding its feet, but there are some awesome moments on there. Seen The Light is still our most-streamed song to date.

We didn’t have long to write and record the EP between the Covid lockdowns in 2020. We managed something like four rehearsals before going into the studio, starting with around six rough ideas and developing the three best ones.

If the tracks share a theme, it’s that they’re all about false realities (hence the title). Bootlicker is about the delusions of an authoritarian apologist. Don’t Bite is about misrepresentation of reality in the media. And Seen the Light, is about a relationship built on a lie.

We recorded the songs over three days with producer Joe Marsh at Orchard Studios in Somerset, which was great fun.
